aye up chucks, how the devil are you all??? glad to see the party reinstated to it's proper place, no offence to tigz and her party forum, but the dfw party belongs on dfw, the minority can just deal!

just in from work, it's been a very very long week, feeling sooooo tired so won't be on for long but need to chuck on some washing and do some tidying before bed so I'll probably just stay on here for half an hour then do it in the morning ;)

Sorry to disappear so abruptly, I've been excavating the garage and I've found some more beer  Things are looking up.
Tigtag, that's dreadful news, and what swines giving so little notice! Will he get any money out of them? And what are his chances of finding something else in the near future?

Thanks newleaf :) Been offline for the last two hours   and on the phone to bl00dy India   - damn you BT to eternal HELL

Unfortunately he has only been theer 10months (after 6 months unemployed coz he was made redundant  (4 times in 4 years between us!!) so no extra money :(:(

Not really sure about his chances - the trade is pretty swamped at the moment (God Bless you Tony & all New Labour   ) He's whats known as an improver which meand he does the job but without the qualifications!!

We have a few friends with their ears to the ground but he may end up with a change of direction (his words!)

Whats drives me nuts is he can get enough *points* with his experience to immigrate to bl00dy Oz but not get a job here

Sorry - rant over, bet you wished you'd never asked :rotfl:

Lenny, pack it in, you made her jump :rotfl:

Newleaf - yes, she's a really good baby so far, she sleeps most of the time, in fact we have to wake her up for a feed sometimes because she sleeps for so long and apparently it's not good for newborns to go more than 6 hours or so without a feed, because they lose weight easily.

Had some good news about our car - don't know if you remember someone rode a bike into it - well we asked them to pay half towards the repairs and they arrived last night with the money. It will still cost us about £200, but it's sooo much better than £400 :D

Snaggles - Thats FAB news :D:D

I can't really drink yet because I'm feeding her myself - I did have a sneaky jack & coke last night though and it made me feel drunk lol!
