hi again cookie
If you are right and its Lloyds, let them waste their money on phonecalls not you! If its that important they will ring back.
If you are getting hassle from creditors by phone, write to them all stating that you will only deal with them in writing in future and the calls will stop - if they don't its harrassment and they are not allowed to do this

I agree.
If they really want to speak to you they will phone back if it was really important they would have done it by letter or called fromt he branch. You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -
Grr call centres in India are my bug bearer I could be working in an evening if companies looked after there own!
Had one today when I asked for something unusual they could not help and why is it they make out there names are like David or Christine - I lost my rag with mine today and asked her her real name not her pretend one - she didn't argue and gave me her real one!! :O
I agree deal with banks via mail that way you control the facilites you need rather than them selling things.0 -

If you are that worried then believe me as soon as you start addressing things you will feel a lot better.

Answer the phone, and whatever they say just say 'sorry, is anyone there? I can't hear you. Speak up? is anyone there? If you don't speak soon I'm hanging up' etc. Then hang up. Polite, but freaks 'em out!0

the fake english names are a lot better than the alternative, my employer loves sticking jobs out there (a bank, but not for long cos they are making me redundant!) anyways, they have had stuff over there since spring 2004 and kept all there own names. You cant pronounce anything so you cant ring them and say 'can I speak to xxxxxxx' cos you cant say it! (and we also dont know who are girls and who are boys!)
they cant understand our names either, I've had them swap first and last names around (thats cos their names are family name first) and they have referred to male colleagues as she's etc!Mummy to two girls, 4 & 1, been at home for four years, struggling to contend with the terrifying thought of returning to work.0
