Nationwide... a little advice if anyone has time.

Hi Guys,
I currently have a mortgage with Nationwide that I’ve had for 7 years, with £86,500 left on it. Have sold the flat, and have put in an offer on a house worth £195,000. I have a 15% deposit and currently earn £32,500 a year plus overtime, plus bonus. Normally equates to the 40k a year mark. My credit file score is “excellent” with a score of 968 and only have a monthly payment of my car (which finishes next month) of £300 in my name. I indicate low risk reading my file.
Have decided to stick with Nationwide and have an a mortgage in principle and am now starting the full application… anyone dealt with Nationwide?? broker indicates my chances are good….??

Presumably you are on base mortgage rate, 2.5%?
Make sure you "port" this to the first part of your new mortgage, taking any increased borrowing on one of the new products in your LTV banding.
It means a "paper" application, but it shouldn't make too much difference on the admin.I am a mortgage broker.
