Genistar Financial Education ?

Has anyone had heard of or had experience of a company called Genistar? They are a 'financial education' company who will give free advice and financial plans to families or individuals. They also actively recruit new 'agents' (I went along to a seminar this week) and I have an opportunity to join them. Up front £99 to get licensed and trained (FSA requirement), then get paid on referring to other companies for financial products. Would love to hear from anyone who has either been a client or worked for them

There is a lengthy thread on them here, with some media articles on them. Didn't read the whole thread, but saw mention of MLM so that would be enough for me to avoid them with a barge pole.
I'm sure if they are an MLM then a sheep will be along soon to say how great they are.0
