Mobile phone question

Hey guys

Wondered if anyone had any experience of this. My mobile phone bill is included in my BR, it's a contract phone with O2. I'm moving to PAYG instead but just want to know if I will need to send my phone back to O2 as I was in a contract? I'll love to keep the phone as a PAYG handset, but completely get it if I have to send it back.

Plus nothing there say you are obliged to return the equipment if you breach the contract.

You'll probably have to get the 'handset' unlocked to be able to use it with a PAYG SIM card.

  • It depends, I had to send my Iphone 4 back to O2 because they requested it, I didnt send it then I get a letter from the OR saying if I dont send it back he will apply to the court to suspend my discharge from bankrupty so I had to send it back.

Yep, looking through the agreement, you only have to return the phone if you change your mind about the contract in the first 30 days. Otherwise, it's yours to keep.
