hi everyone

just got my experian credit report today and it was scored 852, which is classed as fair.

how many lenders will give me a decent loan on this info and which ones use experian only.

furthemore does anyone know how reliable these scores are and how long will it take me to push the number to 880+ which is classed as good, if I do everything right???

p.s on another note If one was to apply for a credit scoring wouldnt that give their details away for the debt recovery agencies if there where any to come pounding on their door!! Just told my brother to get his ans he's woried about this.....

thanks for any comments!

the scores are completely meaningless and are not used by lenders. they only take into account what is on your credit file and the criteria used by the industry is significantly used.

they are a cynical marketing tool that the CRAs use to prey on peoples insecurities.
