Alternative Investment Linked Lifetime Annuity

Hi does anyone have any views on this type of pension and its risks as opposed to normal drawdown pension .

Its an option if the person has the capacity for loss, understanding of the risks and picks the right product provider (there are some pretty poor quality products in this area)

Thanks for replying dunstonh,
it is one of the options my ifa wants me to look at as opposed to an annuity or drawdown.stating it is less of a risk than a drawdown.
The policy would be with MGM.
I qualify for an enhancement due to various health issues.
i am 55 in May and have a fund of £215000 in one of my pensions ,
i intend to take my 25% leaving around £160000.The figures i have been given are a yearly income of around £8500 yearly if i choose to take the upper amount out .
As i have not decided weather to finish work or not yet i was going to take the least amount i could out of it and hopefully let my fund build up .
I also have 2 works pensions one of which i currently pay into and will continue to do so whilst i still work
I have also been given the same levels of yearly income with a draw down and an annuity with enhancements all with MGM.
