Is there a recycling centre, or a composter akin to Bates on Dargan rd in Belfast, that takes in green waste, and is there a charge if this is commercial, in the Bangor area? This is for a project off the Groomsport Road.
Thanks

NDBC recycling centre in Balloo. They are fairly strict with commercial vehicles paying fees. Not sure how much though.Dave0

What are you carrying the waste in?0

No more charges for commercial vehicles @ recycling centres since the big court case last year
And yes, NDBC in Balloo take it all

I've just seen someone offering garden waste free to take away on my Freecycle. Can't believe anyone will go to take it though.

Depends on the source of the waste.

Great, but a bit out of the way for the OP perhaps as they're in Northern Ireland. Still, thought that counts though?

I thought that would be the answer for the Op, she could give her rubbish away.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Be driving it in a van marked for commercial services, and will probably be doing about four runs. I can get rid of it in Belfast for cheap but obviously don't want to be running back and forward.
Does anyone have the number to the balloo waste office to check with the foreman - I'm getting mixed messages that I need a license from niea, then the other person here saying they can't stop me.0 -
