I want to buy small cartons of milk

My little boy drinks lots of milk. With the warmer climate I would prefer to buy some small 300ml cartons of milk. I don't know if I can buy these. Does the milkman sell long life milk. I shop at Asda but the smallest size is 500ml.

Thanks

Asda sell 250ml bottles of fresh milk. They come in a disney Cars theme for boys and barbie for girls

    Cost 3 for £1

However, why cant you keep bigger bottles fresh? Milk keeps in the fridge for at least a week

In our fridge I have 4 pints of full fat milk when he wants it but I want it for when we go out for the day. i can mess about with drinks coolers but just thought it would be easier to have a few cartons. i could keep them in my bag for when we need them like the baby milks, ready to use. we are going on holiday travelling by car next month. I have tried water but he only sips it and he won't touch juice.

Moo do small cartons of long life milk, but i think morrisons is the only place that stocks them. Most other supermarkets only do the flavoured moo milk

Morrisons also do the smaller size cartons. Great with a 'magic' flavoured straw for a treat

No offense OP, but I'm still not sure why you don't "decant" from a larger bottle to a smaller bottle. I do it all the time - loads of places sell smaller bottles of water/squash/juice, and once empty and washed out, will hold whatever you want to put in them, including milk! I have 6 small (empty) pop/water bottles in the cupboard, some with the sports type top (to avoid car spills!), all ready to be topped up, whenever required :)

Oh, and for reference, at Asda, the small 250ml bottles work out to 15.2p per litre if bought individually, whereas their 6 pint works out to 4.3p per litre. Quite a difference! HTH

Thermos flask. Ice packs. Powdered milk, or freezing would be your best options.

Just as an aside, i would try to encourage drinking more water, as milk is more a foodstuff than a hydrator. Also calcium affects iron absorption, so can lead to anaemia, but in kids having too much milk usually results in constipation

I have been trying water for a year now, and he doesn't like it. I would much rather know that he drinks a full cup of milk than a few sips of water. He was getting constipated recently cos he wasn't drinking so much.
