Hi i hope i am posting this in the right area,
currently owe £135k and house worth around £165k husband and I were hoping to borrow around £20k to extend house however after being informed you can only borrow 85% of house value this means we can only borrow extra £5k is this right? if so"£5k can get us a conservatory we want.
However am a bit stuck as we are currently with future mortgages however they are no longer lending any more and because we havent got great credit I dont know what company to go with ? can anyone help? i've been informed because we are on some debt management plans none of the high street lenders will touch us? so i'm a bit stuck what to do ?

I assume that you entered a DMP as you were unable to repay your debts. So how do you propose to repay yet more borrowing?0
