Can I have tips for searching for recipes?

Its driving me mad as I cannot seem to search these boards very well:mad:! I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips...
Say I am looking for Butternut Squash slow cooker recipe, I type this in and I only get the entire thread,, Can some experts help please?

    The easiest way I have found is not to use the search at all. I do know what you mean.

    Have a look in the Grocery Challenge thread which is a sticky at the top of OS. Click on that and scroll down to post No 3 or 4 whichever it is. Look for Complete Cooking Index or something similar and click on there and have a look.

    There's a step by step guide written by squeaky. It's a sticky at the top of the Old Style board:
