Just received email from https://www.julieslaterandson.co.uk (lovely leather accessories!! Me and my family love them!!). They're having a 4-day sale this weekend, starting from today. :j Some of the items are reduced by 50 - 75%. They make such perfect presents for people who have everything! They do loads of purses, wonderful travel accessories (I have the Envelope Travel Wallet, which has been my perfect travel companion for the past 2 years! :-) ), make up bags, chequebook covers, ..... Just have a look at their website!
Will be putting my order in today, so I thought I'd share this!

I am Julie Slater!!! :j
I feel like one of Spartacus' men now. lol.
If you are trying to tell me that a tube travelcard is NOW reduced to ONLY £10, are you expecting me to believe that it was originally up to £20-£40???
Sure :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Going to war over religion is basically killing one another to see who's got the better imaginary friend...

??? Strange replies! After reading money saving tips for the past 2 years and being able to put some of them to good use, I thought I'd try to pass one on myself for a change! Took me long enough to work out how to do it!
Some people obviously have nothing better to do than write weird comments!!
I am sure there are some people out there who, like me, enjoy finding a bargain!

If you're genuine you'll forgive just a little cynicism from MSEers that are sick of people registering just to advertise their own site, in violation of the rules. Especially in this case since 1) This was your very first post 2) the site is completely unknown to MSE and 3) you conspicuously share the website's peculiar style of ending every sentence with an exclamation mark.
In any case, are there even any offers at all on Julie Slater's site at the moment? Not as far as I can see - so you could surely only be guessing that the promised offers were going to be any good at all...0 -

Didn't realise was going to get into dialogue with anyone over this! Bit like me not daring to buy or sell anything on Ebay. Am not very computer literate so all new experience to me. Quite fun actually.
Tried to post somthing last year but gave up as I didn't get anything to work.
Am surprise tough that the website hasn't come up before (had to think what MSE was!). I'd better get on with my washing.0 -
Dialogue is exactly what these forums are for - the same right that allows one person to post their comments on a particular site/offer etc allows anyone else to reply with their own opinions and experiences, whether opposing or otherwise. Where people get annoyed is when someone is looking for free publicity (i.e. no dialogue), and MSEers quite rightly use their voice to make sure this tactic backfires as far as possible.
Suspicions were aroused in this case because of the reasons I outlined in my earlier post, but if you haven't just come on here to advertise a site that you have a vested interest in, don't be discouraged and it'll become clear to other MSEers once you post on other topics.0 -
I thought it said Amazon leather bargains, lol. What a terrible name for a website - who'd buy from the Slaters - Mo's well dodgy.0
