I was thinking maybe now is the time to buy my boots for next season. I was right! For Christmas I got a pair of Duo boots for £100. Now they are £39! So if you want posh boots, now is the time to order... if they have your size that is.

This sale has been on for months now, but nonetheless there are some great value boots on there if you are an unusual size!! I bought a pair on Ebay, and they are really well made.
Another site to try is https://www.thebootfits.com. They also do 'bespoke' wide calf boots and are more reasonably priced than Duo.
Hot tip: If you register as a privelege customer, you get £10 off the listed price, INCLUDING THE SALE PRICES

I have been a big fan of Duo for a while and have a couple of pairs. I have however had a major problem with heel tips and I have had a pair of Cadiz boots that I bought in March 2008 (and worn a reasonable amount) have a heel snap in December. I have sent the boots back (at £150 I think thats reasonable) and have been told it is going to cost me £15 plus p&P to have them repaired. I have New Look boots and shoes that have worn better for a fraction of the price. Unfortunately due to small feet and horse riders calves Duo are my only option in knee highs. However not sure I will be buying any more in the near future.0

I'd just like to say that if you're considering using this company, I'd exercise caution. I ordered a pair of boots from them in October 2008, and they didn't arrive until 19th December. I found it very difficult to get in touch with the company, to find out why the boots hadn't arrived. When they did arrive, they didn't fit, so I returned them on the 19th requesting a refund, which I'm still waiting for. I've tried calling, and their number appears to have been disconnected. Am still awaiting a reply to my email.
All in all, I'd be wary about using this company!0
