Getting desperate

Not there yet, but not to look into options now, will try and be short, but situation is complicated.

I own house with my ex, he has moved on and now has a flat and possitively no spare cash.

I live in the house with my boyfriend.

We are buying my ex out, but at the moment are finding our finances very strained.

I cannot find work, I never really believed people when they said that before until now, my boyfriend is working, but his take home pay is £800 a month, the Mortgage is £750.

Mortgage rate is 7.24% which I think is insane and we own round £89,000.

Income from boyfriend is around £16,000 with overtime.

Would the current company I'm with, do a name transfer, if I can get the money for my ex together and possible a re-mortgage at the same time? Would they look at my income again, or just his and ignore me?

I need to get the rate down and my ex's name of the mortgage, I'm getting really scared as I Know that he is gettign into a lot of debt and I can't sleep when I think about creditors turning up to take the house, because of his bad dedt.

Sorry that wasn't short, but can anyone thnk of something? I know its just patience for me to find work and my boyfriend has been promised a bit of a pay rise soon, but I'd just like some options, as I feel really tied now.

Thanks

how much is the house worth, and do you have any other income (benefits etc)?
