Turkey Wings

I have an American cookery book which uses turkey wings to make bbq wings and the picture looks lovely. I always think that there is so little meat on chicken wings that they aren't worth the bother and mess, but I have never seen turkey wings on sale anywhere over here. Does anyone know if you can get them and if so, where from?

Ive never seen them - i suspect bernard mathews has em all and has made them into turkey burgers

If you have any Asian or continental butchers near you they usually sell them either smoked or unsmoked. You would have to enquire about the origin and animal welfare values though if it is something you are passionate about. They cost about £2/kg.

I've only had them once - leftover from the xmas turkey I butchered into parts! Not sure where they all go really! hmm!
