Consent to let from Woolwich

Has anyone had the experience of getting consent to let from the Woolwich. We have had our house up for sale for about 6 months and have reduced the asking price twice.
We are quite desperate to move and have discussed getting tenants if we don't sell soon, and then renting a property in the area we want to live in. I have savings, but not really enough to cover a deposit for a buy to let mortgage.
If we don't sell soon, the only other option is getting consent to let from the Woolwich (our current mortgage provider). We are worried that they will not give us consent though, which in effect will make us stuck where we don't want to be.
Can anyone offer us any advice please?

Continue to reduce the selling price.
CTL may solve one problem but will merely create more.0 -
