I have an ordinary push wheelchair but I also have a heavy duty battery chair, I am looking to replace the semi solid flooring in my bungalow and I was wondering if anyone on here has experience of this or has recommendations as to either a brand or type of flooring that would best suit.
As I have said the floor I have is beech semi solid, the top has come off it and it has been down 11 years.
Not overly keen on going for laminate.
any help and advise would be appreciated
thanks.

Are you asking for a recommendations for a suitable wood floor or for any type of floor? Have you looked at Karndean or Amtico? It's not wood or laminate but a type of vinyl and I don't know how it would wear with a wheelchair but it is worth looking at. We have a Quick Step laminate floor which is very hard wearing and it's been down for 11 years, theres an the odd mark here and there and I would like to replace it for a darker colour but I cannot justify ripping it up just yet, it has lasted so well.
Quick step also do hardwood flooring so it might be worth looking at.

Can recommend Karndean thoroughly but it is expensive, it is the best decision I made in my house. A dog with mucky paws and long claws and 2 boisterous 12 yrs old with remote control cars means it has been well and truly tested.:D
