Interesting what you say about buying the cheaper model.

I'm looking at them all but tempted by the classic as it has a charging cradle.

Is it a shaver/toothbrush type of plug, because I have one of those in my bathroom & my bathroom is fitted with lots of counter top - but I might hate it on show & want to put it away.

How often does it need charging?

How does the mia charge on a wire?

    What sort of charging

I have a pro which has a charging cradle. Tbh, this would not influence my decision. The charge lasts a long time (over a week for me, my charger is not in the bathroom and I rarely out the thing on the charger. I do not know what type socket etc the others use (mine is not a uk model anyway)

They are not, IMO, attractive and I would not want it on show. On charge its in a cabinet in my room, in the bathroom it's in a drawer or on a low level shelf. Peoe's idea of attractive differs though!

I like mine a lot, but I am content the Mia with its simpler options would have done the same for my face, and as I say, the body option doesn't do it for me (I manually use a scrub or body brush or use a facecloth on my body, or a combination of all three. I find the clarisonic a bit 'gutless' for my body skin tbh, while I find the higher pro settings too high for facial skin.

I have the Mia 2, and agree I don't think the pro is a huge improvement. I chose the Mia 2 instead of the original as it has a timer, and that is a feature I really like. The charger plugs into the socket in the bathroom and connects to the Mia with a magnet. Although you can buy adapters very cheaply to use a regular socket. Even though I use mine at least once a day it holds a charge for three-four weeks, so recharging is not a big deal.

I have the mia2 that I got my DH to buy for me for £67 from the states (if anyone is thinking of buying - got amazon to deliver to his hotel). It came with a small cleanser which I didn't really like, am currently using with Nivea Refreshing facial wash gel. It gives the bristles enough slip so it doesn't scour your face!

I use it every other day as used every day it was making my skin feel a bit raw. Seems to keep my skin clear enough and happy with the results
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
Current aims - to start building up savings
    1st £1000 in 100 days - £1178.03 :D 2nd £1053.38/£1000 :D 3rd £863.59/£1000 :o

Did it come with a UK style shaver socket or a standard us style socket?

Interesting to read others' thoughts. I have always only used my Clarisonic when in the shower, so I also store it in the shower, on my shower storage rack along with my shower gel etc.

I have the Pro and the charges lasts for almost a month, with me using it once daily. Not sure but the person that said theirs lasts only a week I think you may have a faulty one, it should be lasting longer than that!

As for which cleanser works best, I don't think it really matters. It's the sonic movement of the brush that really does the main work, so just choose whichever cleanser you prefer.

I've always bought cheap ones and it's worked really well.
