It's been 6 years since I was discharged, what are my chances of getting a 'normal' bank account now?

depends....have you had a look at your credit files to see if everythings as it should be?? (look at the cleanup sticky top of the bankruptcy forum)
if everythings as it should be nothing stopping you trying for a different account...no guarantee though co-op told me 6yrs and I could upgrade...they've since refused but whats a "nornal" account? I find the basic one I have is fine for my life cheques are eventually ceasing to be I dont need a o/d so i'm happy as it isFriends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.

Congratulations on 6 years post BR! As Mysterio says, check your credit file from all 3 credit reference agencies to make sure all is in order.
