Santander Consumer Finance - Changes to Tel Lines

I just wanted to ask, has anyone else noticed this?
I have just called Santander Consumer Finance on 08712004150
I wanted a settlement figure for my car finance (as I'm a debt free wannabe)
But they have removed the automated service?
A few months ago I called and followed automated steps to get the answers I needed.
This time I was told it costs 10p per minutes, loads of other rubbish and the last thing I heard is that they are closed and then the call ended.
So they charged me to hear their rubbish about what they can and can't do - they also seem to have removed automated service?
Anyone know?

They don't seem to be much better now, I called them today to ask questions about partial settlement, and after being on hold for 30 mins, it hung up!I Hate Jobsworths!!!0

A stamp is cheaper

They seem to be selling off some of their businesses. Certainly a store card we have has. Might be doing it to other areas too.:beer:0
