Choosing funds

Options
Can someone point me in the right direction? I have a standard life pension and will start contributing to Scottish widows pension this month (2 different jobs)

Where can I look at the different funds and start my research? :) tia

Trustnet could be a good start.

    how are you selecting?

    what is your strategy?

get a monkey with a pin - it will do as well as you and any 'expert'

in fact as an experiment 100 financial experts were asked to pick the top ten funds they thought were losers - guess what 70% losing portfolios beat the market

    cheers

How many years will you have before taking your benefits?
What's your risk appetite - how comfortable are you seeing your pension pot go up and down in value?

39 years. I did the risk questionnaire and got balanced, but I don't mind taking risks. Hmmm
