permanemt makeup

i have very few eybrow hairs and the ones i do have are very fair.
i have them tinted once a month which lasts around 10-14 days after that i go over the small amount of colour that is lefy with a brow pencil.
but for sometime now i've been considering having my brows tattooed on, either semi-perm or permanent.
i know it isnt cheap but when i way up the cost of having them tinted over a year it puts things into perspective.
have looked at a few websites but never really been b rave enough to take it further than that. mainly for fear of it being a disaster.
would be nice to see if anyone has ever had this done and how it went and are they pleased with the result.

thanks

I had it done when it was first becoming popular, about 12 years ago, I had my eyebrows and my lips done. I did like the results but they do fade after about two years, my eyebrows faded out to an orange which wasnt great before they went altogether, I believe that inks have improved since then so this may not be an issue. My friend does this so I didnt have to pay and I dont really have issues with my eyebrows anyway, if I did I would certainly get it done again. She used lots of numbing cream, I'm bad with pain, so that was fine, I'll try and answer any other questions if I can.

Ive had my eyebrows done twice. The second lot are lasting well. Def go for it, I would not to back to having to use make up.

did you go to a cosmetic clinic or someone who only does permanent makeup?

Just tint your own eyebrows, it's super easy cheap and lasts longer than when the salon does it if you leave it on the maximum time.

I've just had mine done, and I didn't find it painful in the slightest. I LOVE the result.

You can either have them like hair strokes, or you can have 'powder-fill' which gives basically a block of colour.

I would recommend that you do your research thoroughly and ask for examples of the work that they have actually done, not just generic marketing shots.

The initial cost is obviously there but it's less than £10 a month for top ups.

I'm going back to have my eyeliner done as well :)

The salon has insurance and guidelines to follow. It's not just about throwing it on and leaving it :o
