pv questions before i buy

hi all am wondering about p.v but i would like to know about the real life installs.. ive a few questions about them

1) do they work
2) what sort of saving's have you made on your bills
3) what size system do you have
4) what output are you getting on average
5) how much do you get on the feed back tariff

any input will be much appreciated

1) Yes as all electric.
2) hard to measure unless you have an export meter.
3) 4kw
4) dunno just started taking an interest recently.
5) £1500 to £1600pa [on orig fit]

Hiya CnD (peace man). System outputs are very predictable (in average terms). But will differ by location, orientation, roof pitch, shading and so on. Returns will also differ depending on the FIT rate applied when the install took place. So best bet is to go to this thread, post #1 section 5

From there you can estimate income and leccy savings (see section 1).

You get good and bad days/months/years, things tend to average out. Last year my generation was 99% of estimated target.
