Special offers / cheap booze for party

It's my 30th birthday in 2 weeks:eek: , we're having a party and have invited about 30-40 people. When we had a party last year it was during the world cup and all the supermarkets had really good offers on beer and wine so it worked out quite well but the offers don't seem to be so good this year. If you spot any really good offers on lager / bitter / rose wine can you post them on here please?

Somerfield are doing ,till the end of the month 4 bottles of good wine for a tenner,and two cases of dry blackthorn cider 18 in each for £16, Asda normally have good deals as well:p

A quick trip to France could be an option depending on where you are. Oddbins will pay for your trip if you pre-order over £300 - as will Majestic. I found Oddbins cheaper and a better selection than Majestic though and a lot cheaper than the Hypermarkets or anywhere in Citi Europe.

asda, sainsburys and tesco have some good deals on. i think asda is coming out the best so far. checkout the grabbit thread i can't do any links at the moment you could also check out one of the supermarket comparison sites

Yep, all your local supermarkets will have FA CUP specials for the next week or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
