repetitive late wages incurr charges

in Reclaim mortgage fees, council tax, etc
I am self employed,and my wages are repeatedly late,ranging from 2 days to 2 weeks.i have cancelled my direct debits with the bank,but I want to know where I stand if I ask my employer to pay for my charges.

    If you have an employer and are paid wages you are not self employed.
