Hi everyone
I was given a NIL Tax code and on the paperwork it states that the code is in place until the end of the tax year?
Nil tax code started in January so does this mean noe we are in a new tax year that this is no longer in place?
Do I cancel my standing order to moon beever?

Yes the nil tax IPA has now ended so cancel the standing order and ring HMRC to get your tax code changed so that you pay the right amount of tax from now on - they can be slow to automatically renew the tax code and you don't want to end up owing them tax now!"Whether you think you can, or you think you can't -- you're right" - Henry Ford0

Just to say my nil tax code ended and my employer has got my new one as I checked also a receive a very small monthly pension which has been paid into bank this morning with the new tax deduction.
Maybe because everyone's tax code has changed with the new allowances they are more on the ball.
Slightly off topic my increase in salary due to this would have given me a surplus, but electric and everything has gone up so my trustee was fine with me raising my dd.
I wonder how many of us have not notified their O.R of this increase? its easily lost due to rising costs but remember we have to notify of any changes.0 -
Thanks for the responses
Am I likely to get another NIL TC IPA???0 -
No, you won't get another nil tax code.
