Thanks a k321 I Have just placed an order.

Can I ask people who have already worn them, do you recommend washing before wearing.?

I didn't, makes no sense to me. ;)

Well I rinsed mine - but only because others said theirs smelt and had been grubby - but mine looked fine anyway - so really no need.

I ordered 4- 3 were perfect and one (lime green) stunk to high heaven (mouldy/damp musty smell) and had big pulls in it.
I have washed it( and the colour run badly) so it smells nice now and I can live with the pulls cus they are across the centre so wont look too bad when on (and it s only for a garden party and the recipient isn't the sort to wear it again!!) ). For the money they are well worth it though.

tbh-the green is much nicer now its faded a little

My four arrived today - really pleased with them. True colours and not too smelly! They are marked 'dry clean only', so it's good to know that others have washed them with no problem.

I would be wary of putting in a machine because they run so I hand rinsed in the sink with some bubble bath.

I ordered 12, I love scarfs, wear them with everything and keep one in my bag on summer evenings to wrap round my shoulders when it gets cold.

So I finally had chance to get to the Post Office and pick mine up today, for the price I think they are great, one has a run and a few have a couple of tiny marks, which I think might come out when washed.

They do smell a bit, not sure if its from the manufacturing, dye etc. However one, smelt terribly damp and actually felt wet but otherwise not damaged. I have thrown all the lighter colour ones into the washing machine with some colour catcher sheets, will do the darker ones after, if the dye is not properly rinsed I don't want it come out on me or my clothes.

I had a black scarf from Primark once, I took it off at work to find I had marks all over my neck, looked like I needed a good wash, :o so won't make that mistake again and will make sure they have all had a good rinse in the machine!

I am still waiting for mine. They were dispatched a couple of days ago.

Mine took about 4-5 days to come, then have been sitting at the post office for a week.

The lighter ones are out of the machine, all have come out fine, put lots of softener in and they smell lovely now and feel really soft, very happy with them. But the dye definitely runs a lot, I put 4 colour catcher sheets in and they were very heavily coloured just from the pale ones. Am going to split the darker ones now I think, just to be on the safe side.

Edit : Wow!! There is a lot of very pink foam in the machine right now, very glad I washed rather it coming out on my clothes!

    Hi
I watched a youtube video about setting the colour on clothes that run,its cold water, bicarbonate soda and white vinegar. I tried it on a old skirt that always runs colour and it seems to work-although i still would not put the skirt in with my other clothes.
