Joint loan application disclosure

Options
Hello, I have a joint loan of £12K lined to my Northern Rock Mortgage. I'm after some advice of what I put on future credit applications- do I disclose I have a £12,000 loan, or put down £6,000 as I'm liable for half of it, or would credit agencies see it as part of the mortgage?
Thanks in advance.

Are we to take it that paint has split from perfume and wants to dump half the debt?

I'll bet that was a surprise to P&P.Moral of the story is "read the t&c's"
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
