Social Worker and CCJ

Hi there
Does anybody know if having a CCJ prevents you from being a Social Worker? I am about to apply for a Graduate Programme through my local authority (not the Step Up to Social Work run by the Government) and I'm worried this may preclude me.
I already do voluntary work and I have 2 clear Enhanced Disclosures so not worried about that, and from what I've read in the Suitability Declaration that I have to complete, they don't ask about financial history just Criminal history and any professional misconduct (ie being the subject of a disciplinary or being thrown out of or suspended from any governing bodies, which I haven't been)
I really, really want to do this and will be gutted if this is going to be a problem
Can anyone advise
Thanks

Check with the course provider or with the Health Professionals Council, they will be able to tell you definitely. Just email them and ask.0

Thanks I'll do that - I did look at their website and again couldn't see any info that might suggest this would be the case. I know you can't join the police for example and that information is quite clear in their section on vetting. But yeah I'll drop them a line.0
