    Thank you.
I'll give the meat offer a miss (if mine is the same).
Hoping the weekend after is not good as I'm away. :D

Then after that, I would like meatballs, steak mince and chicken breasts ............................pretty please. lol

So glad I decided to try the ribs in Lidl, I went in to get them this morning and spotted strawberries marked down to 79p for 500g, I don't know if every shop has them but lots available in Glenrothes. :T

They look a bit over-ripe and probably wont last but they do look perfect for smoothies so all I need is some sunshine and I am set for a good weekend :)

I don't know if it is a nationwide offer but they are selling strawberries @ 79p/500g in my local Lidl today (Saturday 27th).

They looked a little over-ripe but will certainly do me for smoothies and dessert this weekend :T

No strawberries in Manchester Oxford Rd/Wilmslow Rd. :(

Got the spare ribs and pain au chocolats today.

Didn't realise the pain au chocolats were individually wrapped. Even better for taking to work.

They are Spanish and nowhere near as good as 'home grown' but taste enough like strawberry to use in a smoothie, I would not use them for jam though, too much water content to set properly.
