bank still accepting pension 2 years later

My partner and I were declared bankrupt in Feb 2011. We were discharged a year later. In 2011 we paid some cash to the Official Receiver in order to continue to benefit from 2 (very) small pensions belonging to my partner. We have now discovered that one of the pension schemes has been making a monthly payment into our pre-bankruptcy (Nationwide) bank account instead of our new account. This amounts to about £500. Also shortly after being made bankrupt we found jobs and, despite telling HMRC they overpaid nearly £1000 of tax credits into this now defunct account. HMRC have pursued us for this overpayment, which I have partly repaid, and the rest will be repaid this tax year.
As I understand it the OR should have told the Nationwide to close the account, but they seem to have been accepting these payments anyway. We stopped getting statements at the point of bankruptcy, and so have no idea what has been going on - is it even closed?
Our problem now is that we could do with the money (and as far as we are concerned we are entitled to it as we had paid to continue receiving the pension, and we have had to repay the tax credits that we did not get to spend). We have tried writing to the Nationwide but they haven't even acknowledged the letter! How on earth do we get this money back?

    The OR does not close a bank account that is up to the bank itself. Why did you not stop/rearrange the pension payments? Have you been in to the Nationwide to talk to them? This money is yours and you will be able to get it.

    If payments was made in to the account post-BR. Upon discharge shouldn't the balance be positive? So you should be able to contact the bank and arrange for this to be withdrawn.
