I'm porting £63000 and taking extra borrowing of £28000 so that we can hopefully move house. LTV 39 %.
Banked with Natwest for 30 years have our current mortgage with them and have applied to them, never missed a payment. We have an overdraft facility of £1000 that we are always in to as I lent my brother some money and he hasnt paid it back. in the last month we have had a small inheritance and have just paid off this and all our credit card debt. Our credit reports are both excellent. We went over the overdraft limit once 3 months ago as the interest charge went through and we forgot to have the funds there to cover it, but transferred it over the next day.
Absolutely terrified that for some reason it will be declined, any input guys. thanks.

On the surface with a LTV of 39% you should be able to find someone to lend you the money you need. The main criteria is your income which you don't state but as long as your income is around £30k you should be ok.0

Thanks for that. My husband's income is £25000 and mine is £14000.0

Between us we had £15000 of debt but this was all cleared last week and as the cards were natwest cards hopefully that helps them see the full picture.0
