Sorry if i sound really thick.... maybe i just am!
What on earth is a Beta Key? And if i was to win one of the codes, what would i do with it? Would i need to have the game already?

Good question I only know because I have teenage boys; it is a chance to play a game online before it's released to the world. The gamer get to play a new game before everybody else and the company gets it's game tested by a number of players for free.
I got a code a while back and it gave them a weekend of free play on a new game.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.

I won a defiance beta key & I had to load it to play & it took hours - then the game was rubbish on PCproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

Thanks for your replies, I have seen a few of these comps for Beta Keys but was never really sure what i would do with it if i won as both my husband and son love their games.
