Bank charges and loan?
Hi
I have a sercured loan with the Halifax. I am on invalidity benefit and pension credit. When I finished work due to illness I amounted some arrears on this loan. I pay the full amount every month and an additional amount which is deducted from the arrears.
Q. I would like to claim back my bank charges for my current account - from the Halifax but would like to know if they can force me to pay the arrears on my loan in full as I am scared to take this action and they start to get funny with me?
Thanks

I'm don't think you'll be reclaim charges for a loan, as you signed the T&C's when you initially took out the loan, so therefore knew what would happen if you fell in arrears.
All the claims against the banks at the moment are for normal bank accounts, not loans.Dave. :wave:0
