The price of swimsuits

They've gone through the roof this year. I've just got back from town and the one I liked was £38.......at M&S
The last one I bought of similar quality was £25, so what's happened this year? It's too much to pay for something that either gets covered in chlorine or suntan lotion and sand.
If anyone knows when the sale starts, give me a shout!

That will be because they've put a bt of extra Lycra in it and can now label it as "tummy control" which roughly translates to "we are claiming this will make you look slimmer and we know that most people's worst nightmare is wearing swimwear so we can charge what we like"
Does look lovely but as you say very pricey! Try looking for codes to bring the price down, I caught the 20% off event for my beach wear.
Or do you have an M & S outlet near you?
Failing that my mum wears BHS tummy control swimwear £22-£28 - again look for codes... Best to try for sizes in both shops then order with codes?04.06.12 no debt:beer:

Perhaps not exactly what you are looking for but we've only bought ours from here https://www.kiniki.com (or when we've occasionally found their products in a shop) for the last 20 years or so.

Tesco have some so-called 'tummy control' suits in a range of colours (red, black, purple, turquoise, generous fit on sizes up to 22). I've just bought the 'Magic swimsuit' (ref jo312103 £14) and after a quick dip in the local pool I'm pretty impressed with the fit and fabric quality. They were selling fast in my local store so might be worth getting one online.0

I get mine from Sports direct (i think it's that one - the cheapy big sports shops!) - you get good brands like adidas and speedo for about £8-£10 - not very glamorous but last a long time0
