Halifax mortgage gone up 4p for no good reason

    Mine changed by about £15 a month, can't remember if it was up or down. I guess down else I'd have complained! (7% change for me).

    I have noticed now they've updated their online banking to give you almost real time statements for your mortgage, that they take the payment on say 16th by direct debit but it doesn't get credited to your account until a couple of days later (say 18th).
    Not sure how much extra interest (if any) this would cost me, although on my annual paper statements the credit is always shown as 16th. I think it's just an anomaly due to the way they work it all out.
