I think we need a LOT more background and context before we can answer this.
WHERE is this happening?
WHEN is this happening?
WHAT are you doing when this happens?0 -
Hi just surfing with Firefox, will have to wait until it happens again.......joe2cool0

In firefox you'll need to turn off script debugging. I haven't got it installed, but no doubt someone who has can tell you what to click.
Its a javascript error where someone has tried to reference an object that doesn't exist.0 -
Hi I've just done a complete system reinstall & didn't think Java was installed? Will double check .............................thxjoe2cool0

Javascript is used in a lot of websites, if the programmer has made an error, it will cause the browser to tell the user its encountered an error. In Internet Explorer, this can be turned off easily by disabling 'notify each script error' and disabling script debugging, so although the error still occurs, the user isn't told about it. You just need to find the option to do this in firefox, or better still, use Chrome or even IE 9/10, both are better than firefox which is no where near as good as it used to be - plus I thought Google were going to / had dropped funding for firefox?0

Hi can't find 'notify each script error' but can 'disabling script debugging' in Internet Explorer Options. So Unticking this, could you just tell me the consequences to the PC? anything major?
Thxjoe2cool0 -
Won't affect anything, but that won't help your problem with firefox, you need to find the equivalent to 'Display a notification about every script error' within firefox settings0
