tesco internet print- off coupon policy

I just rang today TESCO customer services and was told that internet coupons should be accepted. When I said that I had problems at the checkout twice [Five Ways Birmingham], he said I should speak to the store manager and suggest that the checkout people need to be informed that coupons are accepatable.
Hope this helps - as otherwise it is a waste of printer ink and paper!
