Reclaim ground rent retention

When I sold my property in 2006 I was charged £84 for ground rent by my solicitor in case the sellers solicitor ever asked for it. I was told that if it was not claimed then I could get it back after 6 years. After a phone call and a follow up email there is a cheque for £95.76 on its way to me (they have even added interest :-) I know that it is not a massive amount but it is better that it is in my account than the solicitors. I thought I'd post in case anybody else can get their money back
