Splitting nails

  • The only thing I've ever found that works is Rimmel nail nurse, it takes a month or two to tell the difference. I had split nails, they snapped etc and 6 weeks on they're strong as anything and growing at a disgustingly fast rate! Only a couple of quid from superdrug too!

Perfectil plus is excellent I use hair skin and nails cheapest place is asda 3 boxes for £10.
  • Allergies could also cause this. I use to have really bad splitting nails, among other things.

Once I cut out dairy/significantly reduced it due to a lactose intolerance my nails have never been better. They no longer split and are strong.

A simple allergy test at the doctor could detect the cause.
