IPA and Allowances , working hours

Hi all just a bit of advice , on your soa i see some post on here where they have put like £60 as holidays and £40 for haircuts i understand they have to leave you with reasonable living expenses and dont see a £600 holiday once a year for a family of 4 )as in my case ) as unreasonable my kids are 6 and 18 months we have been on holiday once in 6 years so would be nice if we could have a small holiday once a year

Also if our surplus income is around £180 a month ,is it ok for my wife to drop a day at work so go from 30 hours to 20 hours so we can reduce this as there is no point her doing the extra hours to pay a ipa for three years where as if she dropped the hours then we probaly wouldnt have to do a ipa and then could she get more hours after dishcharge . i would rather she looked after our baby than work to pay a ipa
