Do you enter text comps?

I was just wondering what people think of text comps? Do you enter them or do you think they are a fiddle? Has any of you ever won a text competition?

It depends on the cost. I enter the 25p ones if I would have entered it as a postcard entry. Occaisionally they are free with my inclusive texts. I usually do the take a break, full house etc comps posted on here.

I've won Digital radios, tickets, hampers etc all from s/r texts. I know a lot of people who've won bigger prizes & holidays, some from standard rate some from higher
    They're certainly not a fiddle.
I can think of a few right now, theres 5x laptops to win each week with snickers/morrisons, european breaks cocacola/morrisons, theres also the fanta codes with a npn route to win 10 Wii's each day.
Theres a good visa text comp which has big electrical prizes.
Dozens of people on another site have won tv's dvd's etc recently with the spiderman text comp.
These are all s/r 10p-12p texts.

I did enter some weekly text comps about this time last year for packs of 'Fosters' lager ( 4 cans ) it cost 12p each time to enter and I won every week for 8 weeks, my husband did exactly the same thing. We could'nt believe it when every Friday we got a text saying 'WINNER'

I do the same rule as I do with my postal ones which is that I only enter them if the prize is something I really want or of high value. I won a goody bag of toiletries and some tickets for a local theme park by text but thats all.
