I have paid off about 1500 pounds since feb, but with buying my ex out, I am in further debt, so I dont think mine really counts.

    But well done everyone

My unsecured debts have reduced by £6,485.30 since January 2007 - this figure doesn't include monthly payments but is the reduction in what I owe. I also have some money in a savings account ready to pay off a balance transfer but won't count that until the debt has actually been repaid.
Total isn't as much as I would like it to be but I have had a lot of exceptional expenses since the start of the year. The good thing is that thanks to this site I have not gone further into debt for any of them and in most cases have earned cashback or vouchers or loyalty points etc. which softens the blow a little.

So I calculate the running total to be
    £106896.52

That's what I was thinking this morning but I figured that this post wouldn't have as many contributors as a big end of year one. Still if we can get this to £500K that would be FAB!!!! Let's see if Martin might put it in a weekly email. That would draw more attention to it! :money:
