This was shared from a US Facebook page, and it says Cnet members, but I've been a Cnet member for ages and I opened an account to grab my free 20 gigs of storage, it may not work if you don't join Cnet but that's no hassle for such a handy tool and they don't spam you.

Sorry if this is just me being dim (untrusting with my computer info etc) but is this 20GB given by a safe and secure (as much as anything is these days) provider?
Thanks0 -
Cnet is a big trusted company this offer is on their homepage here lower right. http://reviews.cnet.com/marketplace/
You can just use it to share photos and video and not save anything sensitive on there if you are nervous...online cloud storage is always handy to have and beats losing stuff. Even USB data keys aren't so safe, they don't last and can get lost or stolen where the cloud can't.
Personally I backed up all my Facebook stuff and put that on there and backed up all my bookmarks. I had a lot of stuff nicked recently and you can replace the laptop or whatever but those are the things you miss and can't replace too easily.
It looks like you can upload pics from your mobile to this too, I don't do that much but it would be handy if your phone memory isn't that large I imagine
It's never dim to worry about security online, it's prudentHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

You should have a copy locally and one on the cloud. If your house burns down you can get your data back. Depends on the company - Pogoplug are fairly reliable (I've got a pogoplug device here) but I don't know how long they will be in business for. You pays your money and you makes your choices!0
