PPI Consumer Questionairre

My trustee has applied for the recovery of any missold PPI. I am aware that if successful they will keep it as part of the estate etc.

I had no idea I even had PPI on a credit card that a claim form has come through for. It would have been over 5 years ago that I took the card out and I honestly can't really remember anything about the application etc.

On the questionairre I've been asked to fill in there are questions such as:

Tell us what happened when you took out the PPI - where the sale took place, who you spoke to, information given before taking it out, how things were explained to you

Etc

Also tell us why you are now unhappy with the insurance.

I don't have any answers to these. I obviously want to comply with my trustee but I don't want to lie either. Any suggestions on what to put down?

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

You put down the truth as you remember it.

If the truth is that you don't remember, then that is your answer.

Not all PPI was mis-sold - although most of it was!

    Q. Tell us what happened when you took out the PPI - where the sale took place, who you spoke to, information given before taking it out, how things were explained to you?

    A. To the best of my knowledge, I do not recall any PPI being taken out on this account.

    Q. Also tell us why you are now unhappy with the insurance.
