Holiday Entitlement

Hi,
I am sure I already know the answer to this question but my manager is adamant I am wrong - please can some-one confirm my holiday entitlement.
I work two days per week Tuesday and Thursday. My full-time colleagues get 25 days plus 8 days bank holiday entitlement.
My manager says that I will get the 25 days pro-rata plus the bank holiday if it falls on a working day. I think that is wrong and I should get the 33 days pro-rata, ie; 13.2 days pa.
If I am right, how do I pursue this as my manager has said that she has checked with the payroll bureau that process the wages and they have said she is right.
I love working there and don't want to get on the wrong side of anyone but do not want to be getting less than the legal minimum.
Thanks

Of course your pro rata entitlement is 13.2 days - and they can't round to the nearest whole day. It has to be exact 13.2 days or the 0.2 part day is rounded up to any other proportion of a day.0 -
The minimum they can give you is 11.2 days including bank hols, they don't have to give all the staff the same enhanced hols if they don't want to so can just settle on this amount.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

But the OP is part-time and part-timers have protection from worse treatment (they can get better treatment!)
So, what you say about the minimum is true - so long as a full-time person of the same grade and length of service would not get the enhanced company entitlement.0 -
Yes, as long as they they can show they would do the same to a full timer then they would be ok. That's not to say they have to treat all full timers like that though, the reason for not giving the enhancement to the part timer might be length of service for example.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

I mentioned "same length of service" as well as "grade". I think we are agreed.0 -
Thanks padded john and little voice.
The irony is I used to do payroll in my old job and know the
rules and regs.
All my colleagues are full-time and get 25 days plus 8 banks, including new starters.
I am protected by the part-time workers (prevention of unfavourable treatment) regulations 2000 (2002) so I should get pro-rata equivalent.
But my manager is refusing to budge. What can I do next? It is so awkward telling your boss you know her job better than her!
:mad:Today is a new day and I'm gonna make it a good one.
