Cost to fit an outdoor tap?

Hi would anyone have any idea how much you would expect to pay for parts/labour to fit an outdoor tap? I've had quotes ranging from £30 - £100+ and because i really have no idea about the cost of the tap itself i'm not sure if the £30 quote seems strangely cheap?
Any help would be appreciated.
And i'm just looking for a basic tap, nothing gold-plated!

Shouldn't take more than an hour to fit unless your mains water pipe is very inaccessible. A plumber would probably use traditional fittings rather than the above DIY kit - these would be a better job and cost less than the kit. So £30 probably not far away.0 -
As above, £30 is about right. B&Q do a kit for under a tenner.
If you are doing it yourself, the difficult part is drilling a hole through the wall, assuming it is brick.0 -
If you're going to do it yourself don't forget when you drill the hole to do it at a slight angle so you don't get water from raindrops for example coming back into the house. Water can't run upwards.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
