Not sure how the other discounts (e.g. on dresses?) are being applied, does anyone know?
I bought a pair of ladies crop linen trousers yesterday that should have been £12, they scanned at £9.60. The 20% came off automatically.

Carray, pm'd you on PTS0 -
So I used up the last of my red £6 clothing on a £30 spend from a quit pack on Sunday and today I managed to get a refund on two items that did not fit correctly. I've got one dress that fits Ok but I could do with the next size up but its unlikely to be still around.
Apart from that I still have my blue coupons but they have a long date on them and thye might combine with a few of the weekly £6 coupons if I manage to get a £30 shop together.
The best bit is that I can now stop wasting so much time milling around and around the clothing section of every Tesco within 100 miles trying to find anything in a size 12 , anything not overpriced or that looks like a sack or pregnancy wear and also trying to figure out the best way of spending as close as possible to £30 or £50 and then going through the trauma of going through the till and hoping my coupons will scan, even when I have bought the items and I dont have to queue up at customer service to plea my case :rotfl:
So I had a lovely 10 minites in Oxfam this morning and came out with a white loose crochet jumper for £3 and an orange embroidered embellished hippy long skirt from Gap for £5 so my money today went to a good cause rather than adding to Mr Ts daily millions!

Yes we finally said good bye to the first Quit KIt coupon on Sunday, and what a good one it was, came out around Christmas i remember, must have had hundreds of them, and extremely glad to say my final 11 all went over the weekend, 5 excellent clothes shops at £60 + HandB + HC made it an excellent weekend, although didnt come close to rivalling the Thursday before that.
Had a small failure as well.only "one of each" he said on a £30 (only 1 Quit left)......so only got £21.50 off my £33.....but it was covered by the others.
Also used multiples of all 3 differently dated £6 ones....and HB and HC.
So goodbye to old Quit....you really served us well.
Need a rest again until tomorrow.......lol.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Thanks to the generosity of a fellow MSE poster, I finally had some £6 notes to spend tonight. I also attempted my 1st self scan shop. Its fair to say it was a somewhat fraught experience
The tills in my local store are obviously set to recognise these coupons as meant for a £30 spend on clothing.Luckily I had spent just over £30 and the self scan supervisor wasn't interested enough to check, so let a 2nd coupon through. They are also definitely set to only let 2 Quit Pack £1.25 coupons through on any spend. [She let a 3rd go through though]
I guess I can't really complain as I got a £30 saving today, but trust my local store to be on top of things. *sighs*
I may try and get another through on the tills tomorrow but not feeling hopeful. So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try
