....or rather didn't do it! :T
I had a banking review today and declined the offer to "release some equity" in spite of the little girl at the bank telling me that secured loans were better because the interest rate was lower.
I did ask for a normal debit card though (have electron at the mo) so i could use Tesco online for groceries- but even that got "reffered".
The girl at the bank called me "dear" throughout, I'm only 31 :rotfl:
Snowballing here we come.
off to sort out a signature thingy now.

Many Congratulations. Well done on turning down there "fantastic" offer of "equity release".
MAkes me laugh these days that banks treat us all as mugs. The one thing that you do ask for that will not get you into debt (the debit card) they refuse. If you want to get a further 10k into debtr then I bet it wouldnt have been a problem :rotfl:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

I like the way you are eligible to have some "equity" but not a card! And lenders are supposed to be more resonsible these days!
I never went to a bank review when they rang (Lloyds) I just used to put them off tell them I was pregnant, husband was out the country anything! They should rename them selling session it would be more accurate!0
