Can You Claim Back Petrol Travel Expenses

I have been ordered by my advisor to attend a training course for 4 days. I do not have a car but my mother has offered me the use of her car for the 4 days. It is going to be a 30 mile round trip each day so will cost me £20 of my JSA. Am i able to claim this back? I could use the bus but will have to take 2 buses & it will add 45mins to my journey time. Much less aggravation to use the car.

JCp will refund expenses if it is a mandatory course, they will only refund the cheapest method so if it cheaper to get the bus then they pay for the bus, ring and ask your adviser. Sometimes different offices have bus token to give you.0
